Mr. Men & Little Miss Facebook Fun

A few of my friends have been forwarding this Mr. Men and Little Miss picture around facebook, tagging friends whom they think would fit into that character. It’s loads of fun and light humored.

Does anyone out there remember the Mr. Men and Little Miss series of books and characters? They have been around for a while. I think 80’s and 90’s and still popular. I loved this series as a child. Being a child, my parents usually dropped me off at the bookstore while they went shopping, and i would read each of the series in the Mr. Men and Little Miss books. (argh…all that nostalgia when you think of Mr. Men and Little Miss).

Anyways, seeing Mr. Men and Little Miss being used on Facebook is brilliant.

Mr. Men is a series of children books by Roger Hargreaves started in 1971. Little Miss was an accompanying series by the same author with female characters that started in 1981. After Hargreaves’ death in 1988, his son, Adam Hargreaves, began writing and illustrating new stories involving the Mr. Men and Little Miss characters, including the creation of ten new characters, four of which were inspired by work Roger Hargreaves had produced before his death.
